Three Months

So a couple weeks ago, I passed the three month mark on hormones. What I’ve noticed so far…

Moods are more intense still. Yesterday was Holland Pride, and for a good chunk of the afternoon, I felt kind of weepy. It wasn’t until I grabbed Mom Amy and danced with her for about 5 minutes that I felt any sense of relief. My dad right now is playing a huge game of Poke The Bear, and if he keeps it up, his face will be melted off. Same with my coworkers.

Starting to change my name on social media. Facebook was done in December, Google was done on Friday, but I want to get it changed on other sites too.

Chosen family is expanded. This is important because I’m not sure who’s “on the boat” with the people I’m related to.

My cravings are weird. I want asparagus, I want mashed potatoes, but I don’t want a protein to go with it. Kind of want to stuff my face with banana chocolate chip muffins. Bread seems especially yummy right now.  Yesterday I had two beers and a cider just because. Someone bought kettle corn to the Gender SAFE booth at Pride yesterday and I had to refrain from eating most of the bag.

I can get a handle on water weight… if I limit the bread and booze. Decisions.

And my face is starting to slim down and fat is starting to redistribute.

More changes will be posted as they happen.
