What Love Is Again…

I really like writing these posts. It lets you know how I experience love. Ever since the car accident, it’s been raining love.

It’s Rev. Jen and Mom Wendy asking where I am and if they need to come get me after an accident.

It’s coworkers offering a ride to work.

It’s Donna and Andy asking how I’m doing when I return to work.

It’s Renee and Brent coming on a ride to church.

It’s Jen wanting to hug me at Communion.

It’s Wendy greeting me with cupcakes when I walk into Out On the Lakeshore.

It’s Nurse Leslie giving me a bear hug when I’m on the edge of a meltdown.

I poured my heart out at the last Gender SAFE meeting, and several people stood up and hugged me.

It’s Krista telling me what to say the next time my dad says something mean and hurtful.

It’s Bethany, Sarah, Max, and Rumple coming to dinner. And a surprise from Rumple when the check came.

It’s Donna M. taking my hand when she took me to dinner.

It’s a candidate for State Senate understanding that I held off on coming out due to trans bathroom panic.

It’s the entire team at Out On the Lakeshore telling me not to ride on 96th Ave early in the morning because it’s not safe.

It’s me saying “at least try” and going for a run this afternoon.

It’s Mom Amy and Mom Wendy taking my head in their hands whenever I put it on their shoulder.
